The “check engine” light has been on in my truck for about a month, now. My friends at Belle Tire can’t figure it out and neither can the service department at the dealership. So on I drive having no idea why it’s on.

That got me to thinking: Why do we even still have that in the first place? I’ve got a radio that can tell me the title and artist of the song that’s playing.. I’ve got a display that can tell me the name of the street I’m supposed to turn onto and how many yards before I get there.. yet, when something goes wrong with my engine, all I get is a yellow bulb that lights up. Where’s the display for THAT? I would like something to pop up and tell me if it’s just an oxygen sensor going bad or if the whole darn thing is getting ready to blow up like the fourth of July. Is it so hard to come up with a display that at least narrows it down a little bit? Anybody??

See we met on Valentine’s day because my washer broke and flooded my house. It’s a long story, anyway this year again on Valentine’s day my washer broke and flooded our house.

According to the spoiler websites, the Final Four are Amanda, Pavarti, Jerri ..and Russell! Russel gets to decide who’s going to the finals with him. He tosses either Amanda or Jerri, not sure which.

Another source says the final three are Russell, Pavarti and Sandra.

Didn’t I say Russell would win this??  “Heroes vs Villains” was filmed before Russell’s escapades aired.

This past weekend my wife and I tried the new Sonic on M-59 in White Lake. We’d never been to a Sonic before and found it to be as good as you said it would be. We were both surprised at the size of their menu. Very untypical of a fast food place.

We will be going back. What do you recommend that we have?

I’m guessing you already did the cheeseburger and onion rings. I like their cheese coneys, too, though the Coney Islands here do a pretty good job of that, too.

Also, it’s the wrong time of the year for a cold drink, but you have to try a cherry limeade.
